I don’t know. I have a friend who goes to Baptist church with his wife every week and probably considers himself to be a Christian, but he will vote Democrat every time.
Let him and his wife know what the democrats are actually doing.
I have a couple of democrat friends who are the sweetest people ever. Some years back they had no idea that democrats were pushing to make sure that infants who survive an abortion will be left to die rather than being given life-saving care. Somehow that doesn’t get stated in the newspapers or the democrat ads in their inbox.
There was an interview that Tucker Carlson did with the current President of El Salvador. El Salvador went from being the most dangerous place in the west to being the 2nd-safest. What happened is that the people just got sick of MS-13 and said “No more”. They voted 75% for this guy and for those who promised to get rid of the violence. And they did. Within 2 years’ time they trained the military, and within 2 days they arrested 70,000 gang members. And that was it. They don’t have the violence they had.
He said that violence and lawlessness happens because there is somebody who wants it to happen because it somehow serves them. Get rid of whatever service the violence provides and you end the violence.
We have illegal immigration and all the crimes and heartache that come with it because we also have pedophiles who want young fresh bodies to rape. Period. We also have democrats who want voter registrations so nobody will think it funny when there are more “votes” than there are registered voters. Period. We have abortion because male abusers, pimps, and organ harvesters want to commit their crimes without consequence. We have corrupt prosecutors because Fani Willis can take what Congress sets aside for rape kit processing and programs to keep kids out of gangs and use it for her lover-boy prosecutor instead.
Et cetera.
It will stop when the good people of America - regardless of what religion they do or don’t have - say “ENOUGH!” and refuse to let people be used as a commodity to be abused and then trashed.
There are sources these people can be directed to which will show them what is really happening. And face to face conversations can help too. It sounds like your friend needs some of this.
