Eighty-six-year-old actress and activist Jane Fonda said Tuesday on CNN’s “The Situation Room” that she was older than President Joe Biden and that, therefore, his age would not be an issue.
Host Wolf Blitzer asked, “At that event that you were just referring to Jane, that Seniors for Biden/Harris event that you attended the first lady said her husband, ‘Isn’t one of the most effective presidents of our lives, in spite of his age but because of it.’ Her words, the president’s age and fitness is a key issue in this campaign. It keeps coming up why do you think voters should see it as an asset for the president?”
Fonda replied, “Well, I’m older than he is. And I’m all for age. I can tell you that you do get wiser and you do learn things, you learn from your mistakes. And I have seen him up close and personal and he’s fine. He’s perfectly suited to be president of the United States—I don’t know because of or in spite of the age—he’s just fine.”

It is not age, it is dementia. Age and dementia, though sometimes related, are two different concepts entirely.

You would think Fonda would outgrow her Marxist illusions. Nope! For her, Marxism became an addiction. The purpose of America is to eliminate Marxism wherever it exists.
So, Jane is holding herself up as standard bearer for Seniors with Sanity? Not buying it!

There’s people in their 50’s who get Alzheimer’s - and people who are sharp as a tack at 80. If Jane Fonda doesn’t know that she’s an idiot. Or she’s lying for Biden... I’m guessing she’s lying and knows she’s lying.
Fonda’s statement is pointless. People are affected by age differently. Some are decrepit in their 60s while some are functioning quite well in their 90s. Life isn’t fair in that way. Biden has obviously lost it, however much ‘it’ he ever had.
Nobody would hire someone who presents like Biden to do much of anything, let alone lead a nation. Yes, I know that the left abhors the idea of another Trump term and they are entitled to their view. But the fact that Biden is unfit for much of anything is plain for everyone to see, no matter how much one might hate Trump.

One thing you can say about Jane Fonda, when she was asked to go to Vietnam she went, and proudly wore the uniform.
