San Francisco has ranked as America's worst-run city, thanks to its looming $1.4 billion budget deficit and social problems from homelessness to crime and cash-strapped public schools.
Researchers at WalletHub found that San Francisco was the worst-managed of all the 148 major cities assessed in its report, in a damning indictment of the administration of Mayor London Breed.
The personal finance website ranked other big-name cities among the lowest-performing ten.

But, hey! The mayoral candidates must know their Drag Queens.
Article title is deceptive. The list is of the “best run” cities.
It starts out red as blood [best] and as you go down the list, it becomes bluer and bluer and the final 20-30% are all bascially democrat strongholds.
Yet another data point establising Democrat = poverty, filth, crime and misery.
In the presidents cabinet, agency heads, or just regular old kinky twinks?
Are there no voting-age people left in SF who still have at least one neuron firing? Look at what the mayors and governor of the state have done, yet you continue to vote idiots like this into office. You got what you voted for.

That should tell us all we need to know about the priorities of the demonrat party.
All bets are iffy on this race to the bottom until the democrat convention in Chicago has concluded.
...AND it happens to be in the WORST-RUN State!
Mayor London Breed cannot handle the city’s problems. Way out of her depth. Started as a supervisor for a neighborhood district (grew up in the Western Addition, a black neighborhood). Board of Supervisor control as leader rotates among members, she got lucky when Mayor Ed Lee died and Breed automatically assumed the Mayor’s chair. Similar to what happened with Dianne Feinstein when Mayor Moscone was killed.
But Feinstein was an accomplished lawyer and politician. Not so with London Breed, who has been ineffective in dealing with problems. Predecessor Mayor Ed Lee was highly experienced as head of the Controller’s Department for many years handling the city’s budget. Breed has no experience.
And here we are, with a city falling apart over the last 6 years while she fiddles.
That’s saying something!
Well, I’d rather go back to Boston, DC, or even Los Angeles before venturing into San Francisco. And even Philadelphia would not be bad with the Amrev museum and other historic things to see there.
Yeah, she’s been mayor since 2018. A lot of the blame falls on her. She’s moved a little to the center lately but only a little. Under her watch the city has been gutted of businesses and foot traffic. Income from sales tax must’ve caved in and a lot of the programs - some of which precede her - need to be reconfigured or just plain dropped.
I think I read they spend $5 million a year to give free booze to homeless alcoholics in San Francisco. Of so many misguided policies this one is just egregious.

The problem, of course, is that it’s too right-wing.
There is lots of competition for the worst run city in America
But there was just a report that they are in the top 10 world wide for happiness. So money does buy happiness.
Democrat mayor.
Affirmative action.
Predominance of Union labor.
Plug those criteria in.
Veritable doodoo hole.
Could be a lot of places.
Give me land, lots of land…don’t fence me in.
