Western leaders rejected Vladimir Putin’s framework for a ceasefire while backing Ukraine’s demands that Russia return all occupied territories as the basis for any potential peace agreement.
The “first annual Global Peace Summit” held in the luxury Swiss resort of Burgenstock, which did not include any representatives from Moscow, concluded with the status quo essentially remaining the same, with Ukraine continuing to demand that Russia cede territory in the East and Crimea as a prerequisite for actual peace talks to begin, a likely non-starter for Vladimir Putin.

So Ukraine was going to invade Russia? Seriously?
“Right, so Spanish should become an official language in the US?”
It’s in the UN Charter, and no, there were no Spanish-speaking communities in the US when the UN Charter took force.
we disagree
I repeat: get Ukraine everything they need to DEFEAT putin.
Yup, its "war mongering" to believe countries have the right to defend themselves.
torpedoed a very favorable for Ukraine armistice agreement at the very start of the conflict.
The "favorable agreement" was a Russian demand for total surrender.
Western leaders rejected Vladimir Putin’s call for surrender, while backing Ukraine’s right’s against Russian theft.
Zelenskyy will never defeat Putin. The war needs to end.
Russia would withdraw from Ukraine
In return
Ukraine would remain neutral as agreed upon by all parties under the Bill Clinton administration
Ukraine would cease working with NATO to rearm, re equip and train its military
Ukraine would formally confirm its neutral status and not pursue or accept NATO membership
Ukraine would cease supporting and turning a blind eye to ethnic cleansing, shelling and oppression of Ethnic Russians in Eastern Ukraine, often executed neo Nazi militia
The west is fully committed to causing a world war that we all will lose. Damn these psychopaths.
no, but NATO might, once Ukraine joins.
” I repeat: get Ukraine everything they need to DEFEAT putin.”
From where ?
Russia is now up to 80,000 artillery shells fired on some days.
Meanwhile, the USA buys an artillery factory from Turkey, because they can’t do it themselves.
Still wrong. Media seize on a tiny minority for clicks, and you make out that the entire country is fascists. It's not, no matter how many times Unit 54777 handlers tell you so. Does anybody seriously think a country full of Nazis would elect a Jew boy president? (Well, you do, so there's that.)
The only murders that occurred during the Maidan were done by Yanukovich's thugs and a team of Russian snipers sent in by Putin. Followed up in the east by large numbers of "little green men" carrying AKs ready to shoot down any Ukrainians who got in their way.
The DSM would call this "projection", except that you know full well your story is completely, absurdly false. Formulated no doubt for domestic consumption on state-owned media in Russia, where there's no-one allowed to point out the facts. Only useful idiots in the West will believe it.
Amen. Russia aspires to compete, however.
“They’ve had billions upon billions given to Ukraine and they haven’t done doodly squat.”
The Russians WERE considered the world’s #2 military. They failed to take anything near Kiev and today life is relatively normal there. Since running away from Kiev the Russians barely advanced a days walking distance beyond the 2014 borders.
At the minimum, Ukraine exposed the Russian military for the joke it is and nobody will buy their junk weapons any more.
Russia will go broke and tuck tail like they already did in Afghanistan. The Ukrainians are putting up far more resistance than Afghans did
Globalist pep rally.
That and the first coup, in 2004, when Vlad poisoned Viktor Yuschenko and had his puppet, Yuschenko, installed.
