Eldest brother Joe, Jr. whose opportunities to be one literally blew up early when he bravely and patriotically accepted a hugely risky mission at age 29 during WWII. He may have once been a partial asshole. His Wiki page mentioned he'd approved of Hitler and his eugenics policies in the early 30s. But volunteering to even briefly fly a 10 ton live bomb against Hitler redeemed those youthful flaws.
