I grew up across the river from DC while Kennedy was President. Several dads of my friends worked at the White House, one being a chief aide to RFK. A couple of the dads were driving us to some kid event and as we passed a particular motel one dad says to the other “That’s where the President takes his girlfriends when he sneaks out of the White House”. I assume that he wasn’t kidding.

I think that the War On Poverty was LBJ’s brainchild. And I don’t remember abortion being a political issue when Kennedy was alive.

Do some reading over decades, you pick up on things, when it comes to Clinton girlfriends have publicly said so and when it comes to Lewinski, that was no affair, he doesn’t seem to have ever even seen her naked, she would service him while they were dressed, also, even JFK’s wife Jackie, said that JFK was lousy in bed and quick, and that was in marriage, JFK also had the Secret Service forced to get him hookers, while other witnesses describe his closet quickies.
I said JFK was pro-abortion, not that it was a political issue of the time.

But that is the way prissy, self-righteous Americans are. In Europe, that kind of thing is expected. Some blackmailer got the goods on the Duke of Wellington and demanded some money, or, he said, he would publish the whole thing. The Duke said publish and be damned. Now, if I were to become the head of state, I probably would exercise extreme discipline and and limit myself to only one new female per week.
