How much of your house are you willing to let an invader keep?

That’s a non sequitur.

And a rhetorical question for simpletons.

That said, if Ukraine can throw the Russians out I encourage them to do so.

But they cannot.

So then the real question becomes: Are they willing to die to preserve exclusive ownership?

While we hear a lot of pompous bluster about fighting to the last man, no society or nation has ever done so. Ever.

They simply get tired of dying.

Countries are not houses. If country A invades country B, and country B is unable to drive out the invaders and exhaust their means to do so, whether it be money, weapons, warm bodies, etc, it then belongs to the invaders and it becomes their country. It’s been that way since the dawn of man, and will be such until the end.

Right and wrong isn’t the issue and is a childish way to look at this.

If someone invaded us tomorrow and wiped out our military and all fighting adults, and take over, this country will become whatever the victors desire, and the current nation will cease to exist.

That’s just how the world works. Stop getting stuck on right and wrong. The world doesn’t care.

If they have more people and guns they get to keep the whole thing.

If they are threatening my family's lives then I take as many of them with me before they can take me out.

But what part of this ends well?

To turn the analogy back what has Ukraine gained other than killing off a large portion of their young men? The invaders are still there.
