Don’t have to make targets of themselves when burning the brush. I am sure Hezbollah has stuff in the brush and is watching for Israeli incursion, so this solves two problems at once. Clears the fire zone and gets rid of any traps so they can view it with ease.

This is quite brilliant in my opinion. No need for wildly expensive modern weapons. Trebuchets are still perfectly fine, useful weapons in some circumstances.
