He was a smug putz.
He was only 75? And a lot of pancreatic cancer going around these days. Hmmm…..
Pancreatic cancer USED TO BE rare. Now it seems to be common.
RIP Mr. Fineman.
“Now it seems to be common.”
Increasing fastest among young black women.
Caused by excessive drinking
WBM... Won’t be missed.
I guess he wasn’t fine, man.
Increasing 1.1% per year.
God, why does this forum need to be so hateful.
I didn’t like his slant, but he was respectful to others and honorable as far as I know
Fineman did come up with a great line about Bill Clinton’s integrity: “Well, I think its most accurate to say that he’s at his most genuine when he’s being ungenuine.”
I’ll mourn Jimmy Carter’s passing - man with a good heart, just a bad president.
Was he on PBS programs c. 2000? I am not sure that I recognize him.
My sister died of pancreatic cancer, two years ago. A quick, terrible disease.
It seemed he was on TV a lot. PBS Washington Week in Review, CNN Capital Gang, various MSNBC shows.
No it is not-look it up-the causes of pancreatic cancer-like most cancers- are not clear. Diabetes type 2, obesity, family members having it are speculative causes, but no facts to support. I lost 2 friends in the last 5 years to pancreatic cancer, both were male. One was obese and had a sister who died from the same cancer. The other had type 2 diabetes, was also overweight and had pancreatitis several times. Neither drank much or smoked, but both ate a very unhealthy diet, heavy on carbs and processed food. I think obesity and processed food/frankenfood are an invitation to something like that, but that is just my opinion...
NBC, MSNBC, was on Hardball with Mathews a lot during that time.
Wasn’t it Fineman who was holding the information on Clinton banging Lewinsky and Drudge ended up breaking the story?
