I always remember the Texas security guard. He talked to the police. It was a good shoot. The jury said it was a good shoot. After he had sat in jail for two years.
Someone got a new thesaurus for Christmas.
But that someone also doesn't understand that the verb "to brandish" should not be used with a prepositional object.
In other words: One can "brandish" a firearm. But one cannot brandish a firearm at someone.

Correction: You loved shooting it - before that dreadful boating mishap!
Regards,
I should have suspected that!
The article isn't quite as jumbled and self-contradictory as it would have been if written by a typical modern leftist journalist.
Regards,
It doesn’t change my disparity of force argument.
Also people do not have the obligation to let the assailants break into the house. Its clear exactly what they were trying to do, armed.
How about 3 suspects show up to the old mans home in a stolen vehicle, they enter his property, one is armed with a tire iron, one is armed with at least a replica firearm....And no doubt these 3 all have prior convictions/criminal records.
How would you portray these suspects if you were defending them?
>Ditch the gun and give the perp whatever he wants and the government will then not charge you.

Then 6 close friends and relatives can carry you to your final resting place.

I’ll buy it right now. $25.00 and a great Wendy’s coupon.
“....How would you portray these suspects if you were defending them?....”
It is how the prosecuting DA will portray this man arrested for murder to the jury. Depending on the skill of the DA, the skill of the defense attorney, and the bias of the jury; any verdict can happen. That is why one needs to be willing to go to jail (i.e. to preserve your life or that of someone important to you) if you use “deadly force.” The legal system is not about “justice” it is all about technicalities.
You bet, never mind justice. It's all about the skill level of corrupt lawyers and government prosecutors and how many white hating jurors they can pad the jury with.
