This student was completely correct in what his t shirt was saying, but we are talking about 7th grade, which is actually Junior High School, not Middle School.

If he wants to take a stand, join some organization outside of school. First, get out of school, then go rebel during classroom hours.

One of the problems is that educators are telling students lies and requiring students to pretend they believe the lies.
This is wrong at every level. One important thing schools should be doing is teaching children how to think; and how to confront bullies that force children to go along with sexual deviancy.
Schools and union teachers are increasingly on the wrong side; the wrong side of everything.
That said, parents should take their children out of these school systems immediately; don’t fiddle around with loser government systems. They are dangerous and can’t be reformed.
Hear! Hear! Time and place for everything. Don't let them set the agenda. Instead, let the boy spend time memorizing the key passages that explain what makes us a free people.
