Police in Albuquerque, New Mexico, arrested an 11-year-old boy on allegations that the child went on a violent monthlong crime spree, including car burglaries and shootings.
Albuquerque Police Chief Harold Medina said in a post on social media that it was “disappointing to see a 11-year-old arrested” for crimes that ranged “from burglary to shooting a firearm.”
“But this armed individual’s behavior was escalating and he was a danger to the community,” he said in the post.
In a statement on Friday, police said the boy was arrested late Thursday.
Medina said in the statement he was “grateful that we took this young suspect into custody without our officers having to use force.”
“Despite his age, this suspect is considered very dangerous because of his use of a firearm and his escalating violence,” the police chief said.

How dare they assume their gender.
That headline doesn’t represent the story. It was a group of boys, likely a gang since they called themselves “the Kia boys.“ It appears there were crimes occurring in the city, “a car was stolen“ with little reference to this boy, or those boys allegedly being involved. Are we to assume this kid committed those crimes? Have the other boys been arrested? Are they going to be arrested?

Albuquerque is the epitome of a dirty old town.
Last night my wife and I were watching COPS on YouTube. These were shows from 1997. Back when almost all the cops were white. Almost all the “bad boys” were either black or hispanic. Except the shows from KC. Then a lot of the perps were white trash.
Several shows were from Albuquerque.
Gang initiation? Or already a gangster?
He probably learned this behavior from a series of mom’s boyfriends.
