U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken is arriving in Israel and the Middle East Monday just after Benny Gantz, an opposition leader who is the main rival to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, has left the government.
It is a curious coincidence that, right-wing critics say, points to cooperation between Gantz and President Joe Biden’s administration in attempting to bring down the Netanyahu government and find a replacement in the midst of a war.
The Biden administration is suspected of backing a “color revolution” — an attempt to use pressure from opposition parties, civil society, and the media to force new elections that will oust a government that has opposed U.S. policies.

Wow the left has changed. The Left still goes nuts if you mention what Allen and John Foster Dulles did in the 50s about changing govts. I guess it’s just about which govts we change.
I'm still convinced October 7th going forward (and there is NO WAY that could have not been known about during the staging phase imho) was an attempt to effect regime change in Israel. It instead galvanized support.
So now its being pursued by other means.
Blinken visits Israel? I’m just guessing, for this foreign assignment, he has left his guitar packed in a suitcase, with no plans to serranade his hosts over drinks and deviled eggs.
Reminder: Gantz represents 8 seats in the 120 member Knesset. Opposition leader Yair Lapid represents 24 seats. Gantz is a media and US State Department creation.

Me too, they simply could not find another way to take out Bibi. I also think they expected the usual 50 or so dead Israelis. Where it went south was that they went too far to assure that Israel was unprepared, and that the Palestinians, at the time of the attack didn’t have a way of knowing if the parallel attacks were successful (either that, or they simply couldn’t help themselves, so they threw out the Neocon playbook and just massacred).
Gantz is Obama’s ‘boy’.
Bad timing on the part of the Biden regime to force new elections now that Bibi has a clear lead over Gantz in popular support. This plot might’ve worked a few months ago, but not now.
