I'm still convinced October 7th going forward (and there is NO WAY that could have not been known about during the staging phase imho) was an attempt to effect regime change in Israel. It instead galvanized support.
So now its being pursued by other means.

Me too, they simply could not find another way to take out Bibi. I also think they expected the usual 50 or so dead Israelis. Where it went south was that they went too far to assure that Israel was unprepared, and that the Palestinians, at the time of the attack didn’t have a way of knowing if the parallel attacks were successful (either that, or they simply couldn’t help themselves, so they threw out the Neocon playbook and just massacred).
