First thought is they're trying to develop case(s) to prosecute some peripheral people with, to put the stink on, but it's been over a year now - what's the hold up.

Info on this case has been suppressed by police dept at urging of FBI along with some of victims families. Public has been rightfully frustrated and outraged at lack of transparency.
Story is finally leaking out thanks to the Tennessee Star and our wonderful talk radio guy Brian Wilson at 99.7 WTN
