Controversial progressive pundit Briahna Joy Gray has been fired from The Hill after she appeared to roll her eyes as she interviewed the sister of an Israeli woman taken hostage by Hamas.

'It finally happened. The Hill has fired me,' Gray said on X on Thursday alongside an image of her notice of termination from the outlet.

She added: 'There should be no doubt that @RisingHill has a clear pattern of suppressing speech — particularly when it’s critical of the state of Israel.'

What exactly are those inconvenient facts?

Read this article published in the Times of London today and get back to me if you still have questions.

Israel says Hamas weaponised rape. Does the evidence add up?

One reason for the international community to try to paper over the issue of Hamas rape is that it is actually Islamic Law to rape captured women. Here is Ali Sina with a quote from the Hadith of Bukhari.

From Ali Sina’s book “Understanding Muhammad”.

p. 39 Rape

Muhammad allowed his men to rape the women captured in raids. However Muslims faced a dilemma. They wanted to have sex with their female captives, but also wanted to return them for ransom and therefore did not want to make them pregnant. Some of these women were already married whose husbands had escaped when taken by surprise and were still alive. The raiders considered the possibility of “coitus interruptus” (withdrawing from intercourse before ejaculation). Unsure of the best course of action, they sought the counsel of their Prophet. Buhkari reports:

Abu Saeed said “We went out with Allah’s Apostle for the Ghazwa of Banu Al-Mustaliq and we received captives from among the Arab captives and we desired women and celibacy became hard on us and we loved to do coitus interruptus. So when we intended to do coitus interruptus, we said “How can we do coitus interruptus before asking Allah’s Apostle who is present among us?” We asked (him) about it and he said “It is better for you not to do so, for if any soul (till the Day of Resurrection) is predestined to exists, it will exist.

Bukhari, Volume 5, Book 59, Number 459.

Muhammed did not forbid raping the captive women. Instead he made an asinine claim that when Allah intends to create someone, nothing can prevent it. He told his men that coitus interruptus is ill-advised because it would be an attempt to thwart the will of Allah. He did not say a word against the rape of the captives, and by discouraging coitus interruptus, he supported forced insemination.

He made even his god legitimize intercourse with women captured in wars, the so-called “right hand possessions,” even if they were married before their capture.

Just another of the thousand or so reasons to hate Islamics.

Maybe it is time to think about getting Islam delisted as a religion.

I actually like Briahna Joy Gray, even though she is on the left.
She has always seemed to have enough balance in her coverage to recognize when the left is doing stupid stuff; I think of her more as center-left than far-left.

I watched the video and Briahna was going to a commercial break, so I don't think she cut the guest off; she let her finish her sentence.
I got the impression that the eye rolling had more to do with the guest saying "you, specifically" to her, rather than the topic of rape.
But who knows. That's my two cents.

Not how most, including I, judged Gray’s actions. I thought Gray was shockingly rude.

I thought Gray was shockingly rude.

As intended by the folks who have been gunning for Brianha Gray over her popular Gaza coverage for quite some time.

With Gray gone that leaves the squishy AIPAC approved Robbie Suave as the lone host of The Hill's tv show as it sinks further into media obscurity.

Good job Brownie

When you buy Hamas and UNRWA propaganda uncritically despite the overwhelming history of shameless lies and concocted incidents by these organizations you are a useful idiot.
When at the same time you ignore the videos, facebook posts and statements from Hamas terrorists of their brutal atrocities & murders as well as the forensic and medical evidence you become evil.

When you construct straw men rather then digesting the information contained in detailed investigative reporting than YOU are a useful idiot.

There are no videos depicting the things Israel accuses Hamas of doing, as the Times of London article I linked above clearly evidences.

No one (including the UN) is saying that Hamas didn’t do horrific things on Oct 7th including murdering civilians, but that is NOT the issue in contention. This issue in contention is whether Hamas systematically used sexual violence against Israeli women and children.

It is now well established that the Orthodox Israeli ZAKAs fabricated numerous stories without evidence and in other cases failed to collect/preserve evidence that would help investigators accurately determine what happened.

However the claims made by the Israeli government (of systematic rape) have NOT been corroborated, the Israeli government refuses to cooperate with any international investigation into the matter, and further refuses to investigate the accusations of systematic rape and torture of Palestinian women and children being held by Israel.

This is all discussed in detail in the Times of London article that came out yesterday if you’d bother to read it.
