Those pageants are all private companies. Miss America, Inc etc. They are trying to make money. Girls and women who enter have to pay for the honor. I don’t think it’s cheap. Some of the company income comes from sponsors. I’m sure they are trying for publicity to get more in sponsorship income. If nobody watches, they will change. Personally I don’t want to see a guy dressed as a girl no matter how good he looks.

The girl on the far left should have won . Flat out! The black girl to her right; I could see her possibly winning. The one in the middle is an out and out dog!!! The two girls on the right at both nice looking , but not “winner” material. My two cents.

Same thing when a boy goes to the Senior prom dressed as a girl. He will almost always get voted the "Homecoming Queen" while the real girls stand off to the side, smile, and mildly clap in approval.
I will never understand this about women. They will simply allow the man to come into their space and take what is rightfully theirs. I guess submissiveness is in their nature.
