As a Californian I can attest that regular people are leaving this state on a daily basis. It is relentless. When I moved here 40 years ago California was the place to be. Not any more. Now it’s the place to leave. By the way, we used to have Republican Governors and Senators, etc… That doesn’t happen anymore.
I’m leaving California for Arkansas in July... already bought a house in the Arkansas River Valley. Aside from all the social unrest, it’s also incredibly expensive here. The house I bought in AR is half the price of the one I sold here so I’ll have a little cash in my pocket after the move.
Just release all the violent criminals and close the prisons, so the murders and rapists will have a chance to turn their lives around and be responsible citizens. Sure, why not?
