I would have expected that priest to be the one interviewed by the TV station. Instead, it was someone I presume is a spokeswoman for the church. the priest may still be understandably shaken up after that experience.
The spokeswoman is an attractive, conservatively dressed older woman. I thought she was the reporter at first.

A man was shot to death in LA just because he happened upon his catalytic converter being stolen. He thought his car was being towed and just blurted out something like "What's going on".

This is Mexico-level violence where they kill just to eliminate witnesses.
