Lax prosecutions and a lack of support has turned Chicago into a hotbed of unchecked crime.

You would think people would know to just let them steal the CC’s by now. It’s not worth your life.

I would have expected that priest to be the one interviewed by the TV station. Instead, it was someone I presume is a spokeswoman for the church. the priest may still be understandably shaken up after that experience.
The spokeswoman is an attractive, conservatively dressed older woman. I thought she was the reporter at first.

When Pope John Paul II was shot by a gunman on May 13, 1981, he later forgave him.

The assailant, 23-year-old escaped Turkish murderer Mehmet Ali Agca, fired four shots, one of which hit the pontiff in the abdomen, narrowly missing vital organs, and another that hit the pope’s left hand. A third bullet struck 60-year-old American Ann Odre in the chest, seriously wounding her, and the fourth hit 21-year-old Jamaican Rose Hill in the arm. Agca’s weapon was knocked out of his hand by bystanders, and he was detained until his arrest by police. The pope was rushed by ambulance to Rome’s Gemelli Hospital, where he underwent more than five hours of surgery and was listed in critical but stable condition.

“John Paul II said, ‘The gunman fired the gun, but Mary guided the bullet.”

Glad the priest is OK.

An actor was shot to death a week and a half ago when he found thieves stealing a catalytic converter from his car.

His car was a Toyota Prius, too.

Catholic priests develop an understandable ire when people start crowding their Catholic convertors.

And the hosts.

Especially when there is a host over the sun.

without recommending anything truly “draconian,” when there’s no honest law enforcement or prosecution -— sheit happens.

Chicago and several more USA big cities are now on our AVOID list.

The best thing to do is get away to a safe location.

Start your car and take off as fast as you can.

Where is there a market for used catalytic converters?

Are they disassembled

Catholic priests in the USA have been going soft on crime for decades. Wouldn’t surprise me if they were voting — praying — for even more softness.

What makes catalytic converters so valuable that people would steal them?
