Defence and security is a major election issue in the UK for the first time in decades, with vote frontrunner committing to Britain’s independent nuclear deterrent.

Sir Keir Starmer, polled to be the likely next Prime Minister of the United Kingdom this summer with the nation’s July general election, has joined a growing chorus of voices in Western nations saying the post-Cold War era is now over. Speaking while flanked by military veterans, the left-wing Labour leader enunciated his position that the world is becoming less safe while criticising the incumbent Conservative Party government for having run the military down to historic lows.

The “Conservatives” killed England. When the fools hand the country over to Labor they will salt the ground so it can never grow back. This fraud pushing strong defense is the con job that seal the deal

On matters of unnecessary, perpetual war, I see no difference between conservatives and liberals both in Europe and here.

There’s an epidemic
Stirring passions in young hearts
Even the old campaigners
Have got it really bad
Well we ain’t seen nothing like it
Since coronation day
But when the street parties sound
I’m going underground
To keep the rabid hounds at bay

Oh my my this war dance
A patriotic romance
No we ain’t seen nothing like it
Since coronation day
But when the tickatape flies
And blood is on the rise
You know it’s got you in its sway
You got yourself a war dance

There’s a cheap sensation
Keeping Fleet Street wide awake
Everyone wants a slice of
The jingoistic cake
And they’re resurrecting Churchill
And bringing national service back
Fueling power and glory fever
Makes for a sicker Union Jack
Yes I’m talking about this war dance
A patriotic romance
And I know all you poets

Have seen it all before
About the stirring of those young hearts
Back in the first world war

Oh, my, my, this war dance
Patriotic romance
This war dance
Gotta World War Three dance
Oh, my, my, my, war dance
The stirring of those young hearts, young hearts
War dance, um, war dance

So, the Cold War is over, but we have to prepare for confrontation with Russia and China. Is that about it?

“Unwavering”? Of course. Just like Epstein’s clients were — for same reason.

More like the “pre-war” era is over.

Zelensky has become a giant dick tater. No more elections, and Ukraine in ruins. But hey, let’s all arm up with more nukes to prop up the dick piano playing coke snorting mass murdering monster.

Didn’t Thomas Jefferson warn us about being drawn into Britain’s wars?

Both the Republicans and Democrats have pissed away Reagan’s Cold War victory through utter stupidity and greed. We could have had long term peace in Europe and be prepared to take on the Chicoms. Instead our never ending war crowd want yet a third world war in Europe in a little over a hundred years and they keep telling us we need to learn from history. Deep states gotta have blood and $ don’t you know.

100% sarge. we have borrowed and spent more than $7 trillion dollars in Iraq and Afghanistan with nothing to show for it. and now the same war 1st crowd are knee deep in Ukraine. This is what happens when no one is held responsible for foreign policy disasters.
