Former President Donald Trump announced Saturday night that he has joined TikTok, even as many in his party criticize the popular app and call for its China-based parent company to divest.
Trump’s first post on the platform was a 13-second video, which appeared to be filmed at the UFC event in New Jersey he attended Saturday. In the first shot, Trump is joined by UFC President Dana White, who announces, “The president is now on TikTok.”
“It’s my honor,” Trump responds as the TikTok cuts to a montage of the former president greeting fans at the arena.

Banning is a dumb idea. Blaming TikTok is like blaming a gun.

actually Trump has opposed the banning of Tik Tok in the recent past and said, “Facebook is probably worse”.
But of course that is not possible, which is why Trump wanted control of Tik Tok.
But he is doing so now, to allow himself access to America's youth. A smart move if I say so myself.
.... Yup ... Like it or not, This is one of the only venues available for the conservative movement to reach the pop and new voter crowd. It's refreshing to see the Prez reaching outside of the usual Conservative Echo Chamber and beyond the usual stale social dwelling places of the Base.

Speaking of infiltrating, why hasn’t the illegal border crossers been infiltrated to know who is directing them, and getting info from these millions coming here? I can’t believe the last 3 years no effort was made to get intel from infiltrating this group. It would be the perfect cover, so why aren’t we hearing of any chatter going on like we heard from terrorist orgs like Al Quaida, the Taliban and ISIS?
Trump learned from his mistakes. Deep State gave him bad advice. Now he sees that there's no good reason to ban TikTok.

Tiktok absolutely should he banned... eventually.
No foreign power should have such an ability to coerce, manipulate and hypnotize our population, particularly our youth, like the chicoms do.
No domestic power either... Google, openAI, Microsoft, Facebook, all them should be subject to the same scruitiny and legislation should restrict their activities if they are trampling on our rights, especially if they are doing so as part of some sort of government operation.
How does China do that with TikTok? Isn't it basically just people posting videos, does it limit videos to those videos that have a certain viewpoint, like YouTube does?

We know that already. It is you & I that are facilitating their illegal entry, because our tax dollars are being given to NGOs, by traitors from within who are in control via the Biden Administration & the stolen 2020 election for Obama’s third term, to help them reach our borers. I guess I was wrong to assume everyone knew this by now. But now you know.
