Lara Trump: Larry Hogan ‘Doesn’t Deserve the Respect’ of Anyone
Breitbart ^ | 06/02/2024 | Pam Key

Republican National Committee Co-Chair Lara Trump said Sunday on CNN’s “State of the Union” that GOP Maryland U.S. Senate candidate Larry Hogan did not deserve the respect of anyone in America.

Guest host Kasie Hunt said, “Republican Senate candidate Larry Hogan in Maryland. And again, I’m asking this in your capacity as one of the co-chairs of the entire Republican Party and he’s a popular former governor in Maryland. He wrote this ahead, right ahead of the verdict. He said, ‘Regardless of the result, I urge all Americans to respect the verdict and the legal process.’ That is not the Republican Party line at the moment. And in fact, he was attacked by the top Trump adviser, Chris LaCivita, who wrote that he ‘Just ended your campaign.’ Does the Republican National Committee support Larry Hogan for Senate?”

Again, they said he had no chance to be elected governor.

Suppose he’s the 51st Republican Senator. The GOP gets to organize the Senate. Is that worth it?

No, it is not. It is more fun to wallow in righteous but pure indignation.

“Hogan may be a liberal Republican but if you’re a Dem, why lie and say you’re a Republican in Maryland?”

For the same reason that Michael Bloomberg ran as Republican in New York. He would have lost in the Democrat primary to a candidate who was even more left-wing than himself.

Note: Bloomberg, a lifelong member of the Democratic Party, decided to run for mayor as a member of the Republican Party ticket.

Amen to that. It’s not called the people’s democratic republic for nothing.

As Cronkite repeated ad nauseum after the JFK assassination. He just *knew* it had to be a right-winger that shot Kennedy.

Potential? Larry Hogan’s goal is to be the best RINO ever.

I despise him just slightly less than Biden.

I’m very conflicted about voting for his carcass.

Hogan had nothing to gain or lose, because as of now, he’s behind in the polls.

*I’m very conflicted about voting for his carcass.*
Just do it.

*Hogan had nothing to gain or lose, because as of now, he’s behind in the polls.*
Reminds me of Linda Lingle in Hawaii. She’s all we had and lost anyway. :ike Hogan it’s worth a try.

She sealed forever the Kenyan’s birth records. We’ll never see them. Got what she deserved.

THERE IS NO WE.

There is nothing noble about “governance”. These are self declared elites that are promoted by other self declared elites.

The correct vote is Democrat vs Hogan. He’s Swamp Filth.

Get it through your head. There is no nobility or moral high ground to supporting the GOP. Governance is going to fail. That failure should be applauded, not fought.

Looks like he just got a boost from her. No that’s not sarcasm. Any Trump actually endorsing him would be a kiss of death in MD.

Ronald Reagan, big tent speech, 1967:

Within our tent, there will be many arguments and divisions over approach and method and even those we choose to implement our philosophy.Seldom, if ever, will we raise a cheer signifying unanimous approval of the decisions reached. But if our philosophy is to prevail, we must at least pledge unified support of the ultimate decision.Unity does not require unanimity of thought.

And here is the challenge to you.It is the duty and responsibility of the volunteer Republican organizations, not to further divide, but to lead the way to unity. It is not your duty, responsibility of privilege to tear down, or attempt to destroy, others in the tent.As duly chartered Republican organizations, we can all advance our particular sectarianism or brand of candidates for the party to pass on openly and freely in a primary election.

But, as volunteer organizations, we must always remain in a position that will let us effectively support the candidates chosen by the entire party in a primary. To do less is a disservice to the party and, more importantly, to the cause in which we all believe.

Our 11th Commandment is perhaps more profound than we realize.Thou shall not speak ill of any Republican. To do so means we are inhibited in the support we can give that Republican if he should become the nominee of our party.Certainly our task is harder if we must challenge and refute charges made by our opponents if those charges were first uttered by us.

Who told this fool of an interviewer that HogMan is “ a popular former governor in Maryland”?

Lara is right.
