Typically, a convicted felon’s movement is restricted to the jurisdiction where he was convicted. In the case of Trump, New York. Probation can be transferred to a different jurisdiction. Again however, that jurisdiction would typically restrict the probationer’s movement.

Mrs. Liddy has dozens. There is no place in the house that you could confront Mrs Liddy where she wouldn’t be within arms reach of a firearm.
Love it!

Since Trump was convicted under New York STATE law why would guns in Florida (which is not subject to NYS law) have to be surrendered? If this had been a Federal case, they he might have had to surrender his guns. But a different state? No standing! I guess the limitation is he can't own or carry guns in NY.

Trump has his residence in Florida. That is where he was raided. You did not know that?

The Law doesn’t matter to the Feds, they run the show and make their own Laws.
I expect there will be another raid on Mar A-Lago with permission to use deadly force, with prejudice.
I expect the worst from this lot, and more. For them, the more chaos, riots and resistance, the better. They are following the Lenin/Mao gameplan.

What's amusing to me is that the entire American legal system set itself on fire on Thursday like one of those Buddhist protestor monks, and they don't even realize it.
Oh, they have their gunmen in the magic suits to "enfarce the law", but when half the country has resolved to spit on their fake "law" at any opportunity, you'll begin to see fraying pretty quickly.
It may even turn into a game.

Maybe Don should offer the guns to Hunter Biden.....
after Hunter is found innocent of all gun charges.

Trump doesn't become a probationer or palorlee until sentencing.
NB probationer is someone who was not incarcerated in a particular sentence. A parolee is someone who was incarcerated and then released on a particular sentence. Bonus points lingo: the parole is often called a tail. For example, he got 12 to 24 with a two year tail.
