WASHINGTON — President Biden briefly wore a football helmet Friday during a celebration of the Kansas City Chiefs’ Super Bowl championship — in a bizarre callback to 1988 Democratic presidential candidate Michael Dukakis’ infamous photo-op of himself wearing a helmet atop a military tank.
“Put it on!” Chiefs star tight end Travis Kelce goaded the president after head coach Andy Reid and owner Clark Hunt presented the 81-year-old president with the autographed gift on the White House lawn.
Biden, who had just delivered brief remarks congratulating the team, held the helmet above his head and attempted to do exactly that — initially smacking the headgear on his aviator sunglasses, which he had to remove as the team members roared behind him.

Yes, Biden said he was going to play football at the Naval Academy but didn’t want to take the QB slot from Roger Staubach. About as much truth in that as his 47-year old son Beau being a war hero who died in combat.
He can make up for it by donning a railroad engineer’s cap and running the zoo train. Bonus of meeting and getting close to those tender age children.
No doubt his US Naval Academy/Deleware football fantasy will now include being drafted by the Chiefs, but turning it down so he could defend poor blacks/Puerto Ricans.

At his next campaign “rally” in half of a high school gym (other have being used for an AA meeting) he will recount to his followers how sometime after he just missed out being a starter at west point, before he became a truck driver, he was a first round draft pick for the Kansas City, but he was cut before the first game since he got Injured beating up some “real bad dude” named corn pop, right behind that same high school gym, Im serious folks, no joke.....
