Noted attorney Alan Dershowitz said on Thursday that he doubts a New York appellate court will overturn former President Donald Trump’s conviction in his Manhattan trial.
…he believes appellate judges will be reluctant to overturn the jury’s decision because they might be biased against the former president.
I don’t think it would be reversed by the appellate division,” Dershowitz continued. “These are judges who are terrified of being perceived of as helping Trump in any way. Don’t know whether or not the New York Court of Appeals in Albany will have the ability to not consider the impact it will have on individuals as judges.

If the courts cannot hear the case fairly then we have truly lost the country.

Why wasn’t Trump’s accountant Weisselberg called? He’s already in prison. It would be easy to get him to testify. What would he have said that they didn’t want the jurors to hear?
If, as the cult alleges, the underlying crime was illegal election payments, then why did Merchan disallow testimony from a leading expert on election law, a former chairman of the FEC? Obviously, because he would have testified that (for at lest two reasons) Trump’s payments were not illegal under the campaign law Bragg was misusing.
And the jurors were doxxed. a dangerous, if imlicit, threat.
Even David Boies said the prosecution was questionable, along with Dershowitz, Turley, McCarthy and other credible, nonpartisan legal experts.
But the Democrat cult is so blinded by their objective HATE for the man that they’ve been trying to do this since he came down that escalator.

We already have courts that cannot hear a case fairly.
The courts, juries, and D.A.s who -- out of fear -- tried and convicted Derek Chauvin and the men alleged to have killed Ahmaud Arbery are but two examples.
The conviction of Trump is a miscarriage of justice, but no more so than the above cases.

They wouldn’t let Trump call witnesses on Campaign Finance Law, that’s an obvious violation of the Sixth Amendment.
They could care less about the merits of the appeal.

Despite his legal credentials, Dershowitz has a poor track record as prognosticator.
Well, the same NY Courts modified his bond in the civil case.
Any relevant appellate court’s ONLY hope of having even the slightest shred of credibility will be to hear and overturn this travesty.
I disagree that a “sleeping giant” was awakened. Trump supporters were already awake. The people “awakened” by this are but a small percentage compared to those who were already awake.
And allowed a conviction by a mentally ill woman who couldn’t state the year or date.
They would be thrown out of every social club and cocktail party that they live for
Now appellate judges are terrified? Well, that makes these judges emotional biased.
