'Who Are You?' by The Who

I woke up in a Soho doorway
A policeman knew my name
He said, “You can go sleep at home tonight
If you can get up and walk away”

Re: 'House of the Rising Sun' original recording (Posts 52, 89)

The oldest known recording of the song, under the title "Rising Sun Blues", is by Appalachian artists Clarence "Tom" Ashley and Gwen Foster, who recorded it on September 6, 1933, on the Vocalion label.

Let’s see if we can cover all 50 States (including cities within states, but NOT state songs).

I will cover Colorado twice:

From Denver to L.A. (Elton Johns)
Colorado Rain (Del Shannon)

Massachusetts:

Please Come to Boston (Dan Fogelberg)

Michigan:

I’ve Got a Girl in Kalamazoo (Glenn Miller)

Alabama (Twice):

Sweet Home Alabama (Lynyrd Skynrd)
When that Midnight Choo-Choo Leaves for Alabam’ (Collins & Harlan, Judy Garland)
