After the announcement last week that Spain, Norway and Ireland would recognize the state of Palestine, a visibly-delighted Palestinian Ambassador to the United Nations came to talk to the press.
“We need somebody to take pictures,” Riyad Mansour said, ushering the Irish, Spanish and Norwegian envoys into an impromptu photoshoot just outside the UN Security Council.
“A glorious day today,” Mr. Mansour declared as the four ambassadors stood shoulder-to-shoulder. […]
All this, the supporters of Palestinian statehood hope, is gathering momentum towards the implementation of a two-state solution.
That is not how Israel, nor its closest ally, the US, see it.
“This is a terror state that you are recognizing today,” Israeli Ambassador to the United Nations Gilad Erdan said in a post on social media following last week’s announcement, “an entity of murderers, rapists and kidnappers”. […]
Israel has warned of “severe consequences” for countries that recognize a Palestinian state.
But now, as outrage grows inside the United Nations over Israel’s prosecution of its war in Gaza, member states are keen to show their solidarity with Palestinians, leaving Israel and the United States increasingly isolated. “It shows that if the US will not compromise on the issue at the UN, other countries will simply work around the UN rules and blockages,” Richard Gowan, UN Director at the Crisis Group, a New York-based think tank, told RTÉ News. …

Just to reiterate, the definition of the so-called “two-state solution” from the Irish government’s perspective means basing it on the indefensible 1967 “borders”, meaning giving up all of Judea-Samaria (the so-called “West Bank”), the Golan Heights and (worst of all) East Jerusalem, which includes the Old City and Temple Mount.
It is well past time to get the US out of the UN and the UN out of the US...
Stop wasting my taxpayer dollars on the U.N.! They hate us, and are against us! No more money for them!
Palestinians go into Israel and murder over a thousand Israeli civilians and who does the U.N. choose to recognize as the victims? Palestinians.
I used to have a deep respect for Ireland and Scotland. However, I thank they have been overrun. Way to many stories like this lately where they are leading the charge for Islam & Woke DIE shite.
A few things:
(1) The Palestinians don’t want a “two state” solution. They want Israel wiped off the map “from the river to the sea.”
(2) Most of the UN is the same.
(3) The US under Biden (if he gets re-elected) will join the UN.
(4) God could not be more clear:
Numbers 24:9 (Good News Translation) states: “The nation is like a mighty lion; when it is sleeping, no one dares wake it. Whoever blesses Israel will be blessed, and whoever curses Israel will be cursed.”1.
Genesis 49:9 (Good News Translation) describes Judah as a lion, emphasizing its strength and power. This verse also implies that disturbing Judah would be unwise. Similarly, blessing Israel leads to blessings, while cursing Israel results in curses.
Genesis 12:3 (Good News Translation) contains God’s promise to Abraham: “I will bless those who bless you, but I will curse those who curse you. And through you, I will bless all the nations.”
IOW, anyone who blesses Israel will receive God’s blessings, while those who harm or dishonor Israel will face divine consequences.
Recall this is in the CHRISTIAN Bible, not the Torah.
(5) Revelations and Daniel. Too many lines to quote.
Of note the US does not appear to show up in the Bible (except maybe as the “Gentiles). Let’s just say when all nations go against Israel, it goes very badly for those nations.
So three things can occur: The US is out of the conflict due to some reason (natural catastrophe or the like?), the US sides against Israel and reaps God’s wrath, or Trump wins and we back Israel so not the End Times.
A lot of stuff has happened in history that looks like the End Times. WWII comes to mind. So maybe this is not it. But maybe it is.
(6) Take away: Have faith in God and Christ (really the same thing). Ask for forgiveness — and pray for this nation.
They got overrun because of the EUSSR. The people are starting to fight back against that though. Everyone in their national government is a toady for the EUSSR (including in Scotland even though they’re officially out of the EUSSR; take note that their former “first minister” was a Pakistani Mahometan, ironic for a member of the Scottish National Party).
Sorry, I don’t get the Irish leadership.
They are being overrun with non-Christian African migrants (the Christian migrants were tossed overboard and now in the belly of some shark out there).
All sorts of problems for the Irish people because of this.
Instead of dealing with their own homeland they seem more obsessed with what’s happening thousands of miles away on another continent.

Never mind all of the UN members that recognize “Palestine”, don’t forget.
Wonder which side of their mouths they’d be talking out of should Trump pull all of US funding for the US, not just for UNRWA?

Nation Building’s faulty premise is that people everywhere want what Americans want.
And so we ignore what they say they want. We ignore what they vote for. And then we ignore it when they actually start killing each other as we try to give them what they’re supposed to want.
Nation building was built on denying that tribalism is a fundamental force and that demographics is destiny. We refused to believe that in Afghanistan, we refused to believe it in Iraq and now we still refuse to believe it in Gaza. But the trouble is that the Arab Muslims of Gaza do believe it.
After two decades of failing to win a war (because we didn’t even try) maybe it’s time to let the Israelis give it a shot. What’s the worst that could happen? Gaza will be overrun by Islamic terrorists? Muslims will hate us and try to kill us? There will be op-eds in the New York Times?
The Israelis have grown tired of trying to win the hearts and minds of rapists, kidnappers and killers.
They’ve grown tired of giving them what we think they want and are giving them what they deserve.
Maybe we could learn something from their experiment in ‘un-nation building’.

What kills me is that nobody ever gives it a second thought that the title “secretary general” is the same title held by communist dictators.
Mostly looks like their “Europe of the regions” plan, where borders get redrawn across ethnic lines. I noticed that on the actual map, Germany is left out.
