When killers like Putin and Xi hint at nuclear annihilation, take heed
New York Post ^ | May 27, 2024, 10:14 a.m. ET | Victor Davis Hanson

After a recent summit between new partners China and Russia, General Secretary Xi Jinping and Russian Federation President Vladimir Putin issued an odd one-sentence communique: “There can be no winners in a nuclear war and it should never be fought.”

No one would disagree, even though several officials of both hypocritical governments have previously threatened their neighbors with nuclear attacks.

But still, why did the two feel the need to issue such a terse statement — and why now?

Rarely has the global rhetoric of mass annihilation reached such a crescendo as the present, as existential wars rage in Ukraine and Gaza.

In particular, Putin at least believes that he is finally winning the Ukraine conflict. Xi seems to assume that conventional ascendant Chinese military power in the South China Sea has finally made the absorption of Taiwan practicable.

They both believe that the only impediment to their victories would be an intervention from the US and the NATO alliance, a conflict that could descend into mutual threats to resort to nuclear weapons.

Thus the recent warnings of Xi and Putin.

Almost monthly, North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un continues his weary threats to use his nuclear arsenal to destroy South Korea or Japan.

A similarly monotonous pro-Hamas Turkish President Recep Erdogan regularly threatens Armenians with crazy talk of repeating the “mission of our grandfathers.” And he occasionally warns Israelis and Greeks that they may one day wake up to Turkish missiles raining down upon their cities.

More concretely, for the first time in history, Iran attacked the homeland of Israel. It launched the largest wartime array of cruise missiles, ballistic missiles and drones in modern history — over 320 projectiles.

The U.S. is a sitting duck since BIDEN drained the nation’s strategic oil reserves dry.

It’s stupid to commit suicide.

It’s demonic to commit suicide with the world coming along.

Mutual Assured Destruction is the planet’s end, with the cockroaches surely taking over, since they wont join in the madness.

How would we feel if Russian nuclear missiles were stationed in central America?

Putin and Xi know the nation is at it’s weakest point ever with Biden and the democrats in charge their best chance to make a move is before the election.

Biden issues memo to public: Insert head between legs and kiss
ass good bye.

These kind of stories are designed to help people from understanding that we are already vassals of China. China owns our politicians and corporations at nearly every level. They want to milk as much as they can from us before the truth finally become widely understood among the American people.

The proper response is the go to defcon 1.

Why not just preemptively launch a few hundred atomic weapons?

You know you want to.

Taiwan should do it if there’s a big movement of troops and equipment. Israel did in ‘67. Ukraine should have.

The world is in for a bad time if nuclear bullying gets results. No sane country with a powerful neighbor and a territorial dispute would refrain from acquiring nuclear weapons to safeguard their own security if they know the world will hang them out to dry.

Probably the same as the Eastern European countries that border Russia feel about the having their internal politics meddled with and being threatened and intimidated by Russia.

Perhaps, if Russia (Soviet Union Lite) cut that out, just maybe those contries wouldn't feel the need to join NATO.

Those countries on thevm Russian border made a poor choice severing their trade and selling themselves off from products they could afford.

I believe it is only a matter of time now before a Russian ally attacks US interests abroad, a probably the destruction of an overseas base. A Russian supplied weapons package will impress upon NATO their responsibility for their weapons being used inside Russia. Second option is Russia simply wipes out the French and British continents inside Ukraine with unprecedented force.

The Russians have tried that.
They were trying to put bombers in the Caribbean, after all, in the 1980s WITH the assistance of Biden, Kerry and the Democratic Party. Remember Ron Dellums taking orders on how to vote directly from the Cubans during the run-up to Reagan’s Grenada operation?
That is the very same Ron Dellums who was working as a foreign agent for Putin against the sanctions on Russia during the Obama admin until his death around the time Trump was elected.

Under Biden the Russians have probably been allowed to install all the infrastructure they need in Nicaragua and Venezuela to do anything they want.
