Sen. Joni Ernst (R-IA) would be “extremely honored” to be President Donald Trump’s vice presidential pick, she said this weekend.
Ernst was interviewed on the Breitbart News Memorial Day Weekend special on SiriusXM Patriot 125. She offered a tribute, as a U.S. Army veteran, to those American servicemen and servicewomen who had made the ultimate sacrifice for our country.
“I think there are a lot of really wonderful people who are being considered,” Ernst said, after being asked if she would accept the job of being Trump’s running mate if it were offered to her. “And I think that anyone who is offered [the] position, whether it would be me or someone else, I think that it would be such an extreme honor to have that opportunity laid out. I certainly would consider that.”

Trump shouldn’t pull anyone out of the Senate or House.
Tulsi would be good but the gun control thing she’s had in the past must go.
The only reason we don’t have the Clinton gun ban is because Bush knew he’d lose re-election if he signed it.

Whomever Trump chooses, it has to be someone who can stand up to heavy pressure and vitriol, and can fight back. I don’t know much about Ernst, but I’m not sure she can do that. Also, if Trump wins and the next four years go well, his vice president will likely have a good shot at becoming the next president, so the VP should be someone who can delegate and get things done like Trump can.

Think back, has there ever been a Senator that was worth a damn? I cannot remember any. I might if I tried but I shouldn't have to.
Something happens to them when they go to the Senate.
Deep state is looking to implant its own in high positions in a Trump administration — so they can undermine his 2nd term.
If ‘they’ get their own selected as VP, that person would be only one heartbeat away from the presidency.
If Trump thinks he can make friendly with the establishment, his 2nd term is over before it begins.
Trump should pick no one for VP or his cabinet who voted to certify the 2020 Big Steal. If he does, he’s just asking for more trouble. Those people need to be ostracized, even if a that includes a few peole we may like, like Rand Paul.

In general, senators don’t make good presidents because most are lawyers and don’t have experience leading and managing a large organization, whereas a governor has experience managing the bureaucracy of a state.
