"With Covid, we all knew people who became sick, and some who even died."

I didn't get the shots, but tested positive for Covid twice in six months with mandatory testing I had to undergo before two different medical procedures. I had no symptoms whatsoever...nothing. I'm 76, and have underlying health issues. I'm not obese and I've never smoked. I also didn't know anyone who died of Covid. In fact, nobody I knew died of anything at all during that whole period in time.

i didn’t know anyone who died of Wuhan virus, either-no one I knew or worked was sicker with it than with any flu-we are all over 65 where I work, and unvaxxed. The only person I knew who died took his own life during a bitter and adversarial divorce.

You were lucky. In my institution one person died and several were hospitalized for long periods.
