Yesterday, Donald Trump had an epic rally in the Bronx, a mainly-minority Democrat enclave in New York. Not only was the attendance off the charts, but it also rattled New York’s Democrat establishment. We know that because NY’s Democrat Governor Kathy Hochul lost control of herself and called Trump supporters “clowns.”
The Bronx is one of New York City’s five boroughs. As of 2021, it was only 14.3% white. Mostly, the Bronx is Hispanic (56.4%) and black (33.8%), along with a handful of Asians. This visualizes the Bronx population:

The Bronx has long been an unabashedly Democrat stronghold. In 1980, even as New York state broke with its long Democrat-voting history and went all in for Ronald Reagan, the Bronx supported Jimmy Carter (64%). The same thing happened in 1984, as New York again voted for Reagan and the Bronx backed Mondale (66%).
The Bronx’s Democrat loyalty has continued unabated since then. In the list below, you can see how the intensity of support for Democrats hasn’t just been stable but has grown over the decades:

However, when you’re Donald Trump and are trapped every day in a Manhattan courtroom during a kangaroo trial, you can’t let the obvious limit you. Instead, even though you’re the Republican candidate, you head out for a campaign appearance...in the Bronx. After all, Trump is a Queens native, so all of New York City is his stomping ground. Why shouldn’t he show up in the Bronx?

It’s not so much that the Bronx voters will vote overwhelmingly Demonicrat, but that the Demonicrat election official will see that the counted votes are overwhelmingly Demonicrat.
There could be a pro Trump contagion that sweeps NY. Reagan pulled it off. Trump winning NY would be the greatest pay back for the Democrat lawfare conspiracy. They gave him the rope to hang them. It would be sweet.
She will remember those words the rest of her pathetic life.
Trump took the high road during a campaign speech earlier this week. He said he would be willing to work with Gov. K. Hochul and Mayor E. Adams on reducing crime.
He didn’t throw any direct insults at the opposition, at least not here.
Who sounds most like the adult and the statesman here?
Aw, c’mon, Kathy, tell us what you REALLY think about the “deplorables” and “Ultra-MAGA people”.
There is a whole world out there that you know nothing of, nor have you ever shown much curiosity about. And some of it is right in New York, the city and the state.
Following Cuomo’s lead when he said Conservatives weren’t welcome in New York.
“Well, I’ll tell you, what won’t make a difference at all, Jake, and that is for Donald Trump to be the ringleader and invite all his clowns to a place like the Bronx.”
Methinks that quote will not age well.

Trump doesn't need to "carry the Bronx". Trump needs to get about 30% of the NYC vote for him to win NYS.

The fact is that the crowd, to my recollection, exceeded in numbers the votes that put AOC in office the first time.

There’s probably a few clowns. Also doctors and lawyers, service men and women (Ashli Babitt comes to mind), plumbers, electricians, rail workers, police, firemen, ditch diggers, musicians, poets and gamblers.

Truth is Trump is more willing to work across the aisle if they are sincere than
any of the money chasing reps that unfortunately make up our congress.
