Newsmax anchor Rob Schmitt deftly dismantled the establishment media’s latest contrived smear against former President Donald Trump with a brutal on-air smackdown.
The manufactured left-wing outrage erupted Monday shortly after a video created by a Trump supporter was reposted on the former president’s Truth Social account.
At the time, the presumptive Republican presidential nominee was in a New York City courtroom, so it seems unlikely he personally shared the post.
The ad begins with a narrator asking, “What happens after Donald Trump wins? What’s next for America?”
The narrator then reads a series of hypothetical headlines such as “The Economy Booms!” “The Border Is Closed” and “Law & Order Restored.”
A historical newspaper template styled as vintage newspaper clippings was used in the montage.
President Joe Biden and his campaign account reacted by accusing Trump of “echoing the language of Nazi Germany” and “tipping his hat to white supremacy and white nationalism.”
They said one of the articles in the video lionized the “creation of a unified Reich.”
I watched the ad five times and was unable to find this headline, which was barely visible.

The Democrats, the Left and their Media are trying to paint President Trump as “literally Hitler”, in order to give the “green light” to one or more of their unbalanced and violent cult members.
How about a commercial about Joe Biden showering with his daughter (a claim she makes in her diary, a diary she now acknowledges is legitimate) and the claim by Biden’s former aide, Tara Reade, who claims he sexually assaulted her?
“Reich” (kingdom, realm or state) was applied to the Holy Roman Empire (800-1806). The term was revived in 1871 when 25 German states united to form the German Empire (Deutsches Reich). After the monarchy was overthrown, the Weimar Republic continued to call itself the Deutsches Reich. And after WWII, the East Germans kept the term alive by calling their state railroad the Reichsbahn.

Never mind my previous post. The Holy Roman Empire was the first reich. The German Empire and the subsequent Weimar Republic were considered to be the second reich.

An even more fundamental objection to the Left’s idiocy than the ones that people have cited is that America - as far as I know - has never been called a “Reich” by anyone, and talk of a “unified Reich” makes no sense whatsoever in an American political context.
And France is Frankreich.
It’s really good to see reporters doing the research.
