Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) on Sunday predicted former President Trump will not have the opportunity to sign a national abortion ban even if he is reelected and wanted to, arguing the issue will never enough support in Congress.
When asked on NBC News’s “Meet the Press,” if he disagrees with Trump’s remark that he is “not signing a national abortion ban,” Rubio said, “Well, he won’t sign one because there’s no way we can pass it.

Marco Roboto can’t shut up, he has to help the dems.
He's the man most responsible for the issue going back to the states where it belongs.
And Trump doesn’t want to sign one anyway.
He has said he doesnt want it.
It’s a State issue, end of discussion.
Fake news with an agenda...........................
No, he won’t. But maybe a law saying to federal funds or facilities will be used for killing babies. Truly get the federal government out of the abortion business.
Trump’s work regarding abortion is done. He doesn’t need to make it official.
Abortion laws or rules or regulations, did not belong with the federal government, even if abortion was kind of legally accepted because of the supreme court decision via Ros v Wade. It was not codified via law or via the constitution or via the bill-of-rights. So, making it official that is was not law, is the only thing that matters. Leaving abortion decisions for states to regulate, is all that’s needed. although it’s still evil to kill babies still in the womb.
Obviously national abortion legislation is out of the question.
Why is Rubio saying this? Trump recently declared this a matter for the states and probably wouldn’t sign such a bill even if it were passed.
Shhh. Got to lower taxes, screw murder issues.
*Trump’s work regarding abortion is done. He doesn’t need to make it official.*
That’s all that needs to be said.
*Obviously national abortion legislation is out of the question.*
Rats will run with the opposite view and the issue is not #1 this year. Rats have no choice but to make it #1.
While not a fan of it, there will be stuff that can be done through executive orders directing the agencies under his control to either follow existing directives or follow new directives.
“Meet the Press” anchor Kristen W.elker later pressed Rubio, whose name has been floated as a possible vice-presidential pick for Trump, over the former president’s recent remark calling the six-week abortion ban in Florida a “terrible thing, a terrible mistake.”Rubio seems to have done what he could under the circumstances.
No, he won’t. But maybe a law saying to federal funds or facilities will be used for killing babies.
To say this:
No, he won’t. But maybe a law saying no federal funds or facilities will be used for killing babies.
Trump has never said he wanted it. Marco must be watching all the Democratic ads on TV again.
This is ridiculous. There will be no federal abortion ban.
I agree. Leave as Alito made possible, for the states to decide. Imposed “unity” on many measures makes for national disunity. The most important “unity” for the 50 states of the United States is to agree we don’t always have to agree. “unity” imposed at the federal level creates the feeling, across the country in many places, that the federal government is not “our” government. Have Conservatives not learned that lesson? Why should Conservatives want to make decisions like Liberals - like grow the federal powers to force everyone to be like us.
Seems correct.
