Rainy, dark, cold day here in New England.

Did you and Champ get the day off? Dry? Wet?
My morning started out with beautiful blue skies, but when I got the work the huge flag was standing straight out with each lengthy wind gust. I had to fight my way out of the car..the wind kept pushing the door shut. Still strong winds when I left about an hour ago. Not experiencing those strong winds here at home. But the sky is clouding up and I got 2 drops of rain on my windshield on my street.

Yes, Champ and I got a break today. LOL Got a little rain while I slept and this afternoon, all h*** broke loose for several minutes. Another storm blew up over the farm, like last week, dumping heavy rain, some hail, and the wind was roaring. Had some wide rotation with it a couple of times. I haven’t done a wide walk-around but everything close to the house is intact. Whew!
It was a really pretty morning up there. The lake’s surface was a mirror but by noon, there were little ripples. In no time, it was really choppy and still is. Can’t be fun for the seaplane pilots when they take off and land.
Not much fun to get out in that kind of wind, especially when it won’t let you get out of the car.
Prayers for our troops, veterans, families, allies, friends, and Canteeners
for a safe and peaceful week ahead.
He Who blessed our forefathers Abraham, Isaac and Jacob - may He bless the fighters of the Israel Defense Force, who stand guard over our land and the cities of our G-d from the border of the Lebanon to the desert of Egypt, and from the Great Sea unto the approach of the Aravah, on the land, in the air, and on the sea.
May HASHEM cause the enemies who rise up against us to be struck down before them. May the Holy One, Blessed is He, preserve and rescue our fighting men from every trouble and distress and from every plague and illness, and may He send blessing and success in their every endeavor.
May He lead our enemies under their sway and may He grant them salvation and crown them with victory. And may there be fulfilled for them the verse: For it is Hashem, your G-d, Who goes with you to battle your enemies for you to save you.
G-d bless and keep your children safe, Alouette.

Salvation belongs to our God, who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb.
A love for God and for people undergirds Kathryn’s Bible translating work. She rejoices when women in India come to a deeper understanding of Scripture, reading it in their mother tongue. She remarks that when they do, “They often start cheering or clapping. They read about Jesus, and they say, ‘Oh, wonderful!’ ”
Kathryn longs for more people to read the Scriptures in their own language. In this desire, she holds close to her heart the vision of the aging disciple John on the island of Patmos. Through the Spirit, God ushered him into the throne room of heaven, where he saw “a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and before the Lamb” (Revelation 7:9). All together they worshiped God, saying, “Salvation belongs to our God” (v. 10).
God continues to add to the great number of people praising Him. He uses not only the work of Bible translators and those praying for them, but also those who reach out to their neighbors in love with the good news of Jesus. We can rejoice in this joyful mission, marveling at how God will spark more people to join with the angels in saying, “Praise and glory and wisdom and thanks and honor and power and strength be to our God for ever and ever” (v. 12).>

How do you see God spurring on people to praise and honor Him? How might He invite you to join in His mission of spreading the good news of Jesus?
Saving God, thank You for the gift of Jesus. Please help me to share Your wonderful love with others.
