Cool! (What instrument(s) do you play for the band?)

I played the baritone horn, also known as a euphonium. On January 20, 1969, I marched in President Nixon's inaugural parade with the Whittier High School band (Whittier High was Nixon's alma mater). The tunes we performed as we marched down Pennsylvania Ave., NW were Army of the Nile, This Is My Country and Gallant Men.

Good for you!   What a great memory.

(It turns out that President Nixon was a saint compared to the evil slug that's in there now, and his equally despicable team of criminal co-conspirators.)

WOW! Good for you, being able to march in President Nixon’s inaugural parade. I knew the baritone horn, but had to look up euphonium. I’ve not heard that word before.
