Why should anyone be surprised of this.This has been going on since the beginning of mankind. The elite think that they deserve to be the only ones to survive wars. Likewise why should my children serve in the military? So that they can protect the millions of illegal migrants that have invaded us? No f’n illegal is worth the lives of a loved one.

This is true of nearly any war. If you are from the upper crust, you will at least be an officer.
In WWII, many rich Americans worked in the Pentagon, or the intelligence services, or in logistics.
