We used to have paper bags, but then the e-mentalists said we were killing all the trees.

We used to have paper bags, but then the e-mentalists said we were killing all the trees.

Now they WANT to kill all the trees because trees are bad for the environment... or something.

Paper then plastic and now back to paper. Only the paper bags now are so thin that they are less than single use. They rip wide open when you try to remove them from the cart.

Since every newspaper has gone bankrupt or digital, I think the trees are safe.

Yep! We were accused of killing tress with paper bags.

When the stores changed to plastic, then we were told paper bags were more eco-friendly.

Now, we have to use thick, reusable bags. Someday, we’ll be told they’re destroying the environment.

Then, maybe we’ll have paper bags again.
