President Donald Trump said he'd make the "sacrifice" of going to jail to defend free speech amid the trial in Manhattan where the 45th president is under a gag order he has slammed as "unconstitutional."
"I have to watch every word I tell you people. You ask me a question, a simple question I'd like to give it, but I can't talk about it because this judge has given me a gag order and [says] you'll go to jail if you violate it," Trump said in remarks outside the courtroom Monday afternoon.
"And frankly, you know what? Our Constitution is much more important than jail. It's not even close. I'll do that sacrifice any day."

A lot of other people besides PDJT have said the same thing about it, including Alan Dershowitz, multiple times.
And if they try to put Trump in jail, will his SS detail arrest the judge for endangering Trump?

Alan Dershowitz is an avowed liberal but an honest man. He is a staunch defender of The Constitution as written. Odd that he is on our side but he really is not. He sides not with Trump but he sides with The Constitution. This makes him on our side.
Yup. You could tell for a while now he’s daring them to do it. Almost advocating for it.
Merchan needs to be sent back to traffic court. He is intellectually incapable of anything else.
If they jail him, this could be one of those political events that sets off a cascade of unknowns.
Just like Julian Assange who was indicted by the you know who Administration.
Merchan’s experience seems to be more in family court and fraud investigation (ironically) rather than traffic violations.
How would the secret service deal with this? Would they be allowed to be armed on prison grounds?

The N.Y. doj is really stupid, but I don’t think so stupid as to jail Pres. Trump. They know damn well that jailing him would make him even more popular and closer to winning in Nov. Every attempt by these scumbags to convict Trump has not only failed, but made him stronger. When he wins in Nov. (I pray to God) they are going to scatter.
