CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Four law enforcement officers, including a deputy U.S. marshal, were killed Monday afternoon while serving a warrant in North Carolina.
A total of eight officers were shot after the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force attempted to serve a warrant in east Charlotte. According to Charlotte-Mecklenburg police Chief Johnny Jennings, three of the slain officers were part of the task force.
One was the deputy marshal. North Carolina Gov. Roy Cooper said Monday evening that the other two officers killed at the scene were with North Carolina’s Department of Adult Correction.
A fourth officer, Charlotte-Mecklenburg police Officer Joshua Eyer, died Monday night at a hospital, according to WSOC-TV in Charlotte. Eyer leaves behind his wife and their 3-year-old son.
Another four officers, including a task force member and three Charlotte-Mecklenburg police officers, were wounded in the shooting.
“Today we lost some heroes that are out trying to simply keep our community safe,” Jennings said at a news conference held Monday evening. “We don’t have any guarantees that we’ll return home. But yet, we have a lot of great men and women across this entire country that do it every single day to make sure that you’re safe in your communities.”

Another fine Amish American.
They should have called on him the way Roger Stone was visited by SWAT.
We do know for certain that it isn't a White prepper or Trump supporter.
What was the race of the black people responsible for this violence?

Chief Johnny Jennings said around 1:30 p.m., a U.S. Marshals Fugitive Task Force went to serve a warrant for possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. They were met with gunfire when they approached the person, Jennings said, so the officers returned fire, hitting the suspect.
The suspect died in the front yard of the home on Galway Drive, Jennings said.
Afterward, the officers were shot at from inside the home, triggering a standoff, Jennings said.

Prayers up for the officers and for the loved ones who mourn them now.
Negro.
Wow, that’s a lot in one incident.
So the guy who had the warrant against him shot at police and there was another guy inside the house shooting at them also?
But they serve a warrant for suspected illegal weapons at 2 o'clock in the afternoon.
Apparently attempting to serve a warrant for unconsitutional laws like “possession of a firearm by a convicted felon” can be dangerous. who knew?
