I have spent the last week walking throughout the area of Columbia University. What I have seen feels like a nightmare of unreality.
Only someone who is functionally brain dead or a consummate liar can deny what is blazingly obvious: At the center of the “occupation” and “protest” is compulsively vicious Jew-baiting, Jew-hatred, anti-Americanism and hysterical insistence on Israel’s obliteration.
I could literally not walk five paces without seeing or hearing the most horrendous verbal and, in many instances, physical assaults on Jews, Judaism and Israel. In particular, the hitherto inconceivable sentence “We Are Hamas!” was shouted so often, it was still echoing in my brain hours after I returned home.

How did she get the job to become president of Columbia? What were her qualifications? She was hired in July 2023 and then after the October 7th massacre on jews she didn’t condemn the attacks on Jewish students. Again, how did she get the job? She wasn’t even in academics prior to her becoming president she was in finance.

When institutions like Columbia accept Federal grants and participate in. Federal loan programs they agree to abide by aspects of the Civil Rights laws. These laws are being violated when students are harassed, threatened, and in some cases physically attacked, and advised by administrators that it is unsafe for them to be on campus, solely because of their Jewishness.
When President Eisenhower was confronted with a comparable situation, with respect to Black students being threatened, he sent in the National Guard to protect them, so that they could continue with their education.
If the Columbia administration cannot put a stop to what is going on immediately, Congress should take steps to rescind all Federal funding to Columbia. If President Biden had any leadership abilities, he would have followed President Eisenhower’s example, and called in the National Guard by this time.
