Reuters analyzed more than 50 videos of drone attacks, collated research and spoke to over a dozen manufacturers, soldiers and officials about how the technology is transforming warfare.

After two and a half years Reuters discovers how drones are used in Ukraine. maybe if they sent some actual field reporters they'd see how Zelensky is destroying the country?
It is creepy to watch, especially when they follow them into their hiding place, and it is even creepier to know that drones are still in their baby age, what will be possible in 10,20,30 years doesn’t bode well for resisting government control.
Someone should post that fiction video of the demonstration of drones that can put a bullet in a chosen individual’s head in a crowd.
Keep in mind, 80 percent of casualties in Ukraine are land-based artillery.
Foreign Affairs says it is 80-90 percent.
That is how it has been since WW1. Sixty to 80 percent of casualties come from land-based artillery.
More than all other weapons systems combined.
Double in fact, or more.
The videos we all see from Ukraine are carefully curated by both sides to show what they want.
Plus drones can be watched in motion, while artillery shells can’t.
Remote control weapons are combining with offensive doctrine &murderous intent.
Which has nothing to do with my post, by the way I was in the artillery, 155s.
The post was for everyone reading this thread. Not just you.
It is to remind people that the core of this war is artillery. And that “media promoted” weapons like drones are mostly a side show. Even though that’s what the videos show.
This war as a war of drones t is not a representative picture.
The last 100 Ukrainians killed:
-80 were killed by land based artillery
- the other 20 were killed by rifles, machine guns, mortars, grenades, bombs, rockets, torpedoes, flame throwers, depth charges, mines, tanks, ...and drones
The main importance of drones in this war is artillery fire correction. It makes the artillery even more deadly.

Then you should have used the OP.
Drones also take out scouts and remote positions. They keep the enemy bundled up so the actual artillery can be more efficient.
And it is going to begin to change soon.

This is just playing in the backyard, but drone hunting drones will become a major part of the drone mix soon. Even backyard scientists can make basic versions.
