On Friday’s broadcast of HBO’s “Real Time,” host Bill Maher predicted that this year’s Democratic National Convention in Chicago will be a repeat of the chaotic 1968 Democratic National Convention, which was also held in Chicago, because there will be large numbers of protesters whose “new cause” is “Hamas, to be on their side.”
Maher said, “I was twelve years old, when they had it in 1968 in Chicago. It was like my baptism into politics, like, wow, this is kind of interesting shit going on on TV, and I know this is politics — but because there [were] hippies in the streets and the cops were beating the shit out of them, it was really quite dramatic. And it’s going to happen again, because the kids, they’re going to be out there in force chanting about Genocide Joe, because this is their new cause now. This, they think, is the cause of their lifetime, Hamas, to be on their side. So, I’m just wondering how the Democrats are going to come out of that convention. Because I remember the last time that happened in Chicago, they got bloodied by it, and Nixon won the White House.”

LOL…and sad but true. Lots of “Get Out of Jail Free” cards to be handed out.
Not quite, since RJ Daley’s long gone and his “boys” wouldn’t be breaking some heads. $5 says the cops, such as they now are, will help the “protestors” to lattes, scones and Fentanyl-laced reefer.
Or as the Left called it a “Police Riot”? Those Chicago cops had titanium steel balls; they went in with a motorcycle helmet, open faced, a billy club and a small can of mace. Yes, they were armed, with old-fashioned police issue S&W 38 cal. six-shooters, which were never drawn or fired. And no one died during the entire protest. As much as the head busting happened, I think that shows a great deal of restraint, so to speak. Remember, the city had riots, fires and deaths resulting from the MLK, Jr. assassination only four months before. The Mayor, King Richard I, was not going to have any more nonsense that year.
The streets will be controlled by the hamas thugs, this isn’t Boss Dailey’s Chicago anymore.
This could wind up being really bad for those demonstrators. Just imagine the pent up aggression the authorities have as a result to having to turn a blind eye to all the crime in that city. Now, there will be hundreds or thousands of people who aren’t residents causing chaos. Probably be some serious bruising happening.
The locals have vowed to be there to protest all the ‘ newcomers ‘ . Should be fun .

It all depends on how much embarrassment the Democrat bosses are willing to accept.
Obama would probably prefer the chaos. And he would be secretly rooting for the Hamas protesters. But Hillary would find the protesting to be a problem. So would Newsom.
And Biden? As look as the protestors don’t interfere with his ice cream deliveries, he wouldn’t care one way or the other.
And no Mayor Daley to put the hammer down.
Uh, the 2024 CPD ain’t the same as the 1968 CPD. Just sayin’. And, if the PROtesters learned/communicated with their panty-fuh pals they will have a plan in place.

Then the Weather Underground stopped attacking cops and bombing buildings, and started becoming school teachers and running for office, and now, they control the Democratic Party and are indoctrinating our kids.

The past two have held a vote disminishing God. They must take a vote that the God of the Jews and Christians is not real at this year’s convention. Maybe they will declare LGBTQ the Image of Global Man.
Then they will take to the streets to Burn, Loot & Murder.
