House Democrats who led an investigation into former President Donald Trump’s role in the January 6 Capitol riot say they are worried about their safety and being arrested if the former president wins reelection.
They fretted to CBS News in a recent piece about a March 18 Trump post on Truth Social that said former Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) “should go to Jail along with the rest of the Unselect Committee!”
Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA), who has consistently fundraised off all Democrat investigations and impeachments of Trump, told the network, “My wife and I have had conversations about what life would look like if the worst happened… . You can’t avoid the conversations about ‘What if?’ And I have to think about my own personal safety.”

I hope that he does. I would prefer execution. But I would settle for prison.
As I've posted a few times, Willis, Engoron, Bragg, Smith, and the bald faced Sasquatch should ALL be thinking about that. The problem with being a useful tool and "hero" today, is that you'll eventually be discarded and alone. They are criminals who have pissed off millions of Americans, a fraction of whom are capable of very bad things.
Treason. Tribunals at Gitmo.
Firing squad or hanging, their choice.
Maybe if they hadn’t committed mass fraud and civil rights abuses... they wouldn’t be looking at rightly earned jail time.

I was on the fence about voting. Reading this, I think I’ll vote for Trump.
Trump won’t put them in jail. There own actions will.
A D.C. jail would treat them very differently from the J6 prisoners. If they’re locked up in D.C., expect them to get the cushiest and most comfortable treatment possible, and perhaps live better than you or I do. It would almost be like a vacation to them.
I say no. Send them to a max security prison in a red state instead. Somewhere where the staff is America-first patriots. Or perhaps deputize some of the J6 prisoners and hire them as guards.
Put them in the D.C. jail in the same cells as the Jan. 6th protesters. Make sure they never get a trial date, just like the J-6ers got.
The J-6 panel broke federal laws. The ‘Obstructed a Congressional process’ by hiding and destroying information that should be public. Yes, they should get the EXACT SAME TREATMENT that the J-6ers got, IF NOT WORSE, because the J-6ers just didn’t understand what was going on and the Democrats and dirty people on the panel did it with eyes wide open.
Aww, poor babies.
They’re smarter than they look. 😏
And RIGHTLY SO!
...they have so little imagination, that they are convinced that everyone else must be doing what they do behind the scenes, so naturally Trump MUST BE obstructing justice, committing insurrection, etc. (because that’s what we do).
'...having so little imagination' = being blinkered by their own evil. Blind.
They are so narcissistic that they simply can’t understand that other people might actually be motivated by care for others, concern that true justice is done, etc.
The #1 hallmark of narcissists, sociopaths, & demorats is NO EMPATHY.
Jeffrey “Johnson Tosser” Toobin.
Oops, wrong thread. Apologies.
Spot on. This is just progressives projecting what they want / plan to do to the opposition and trying to look like victims.
Unlike the Democrats, Trump was not a vindictive SOB in his first term. He might be this time, though, and frankly the slime on that committee deserve it.
Amen!
Jailing people for exercising their first amendment rights not enough for you?
Attempting to jail a political candidate for giving a speech fully protected by the 1st amendment?
I’d prefer hanging on the trees on the national mall...after a timely, fair trial and conviction “if” guilty), of course.
Unfortunately, wife can be a man in today’s DEI society.
