What do they do with the quilts they make? Does everyone have a house full of quilts by now? LOL They’ve been doing this for a while.
Not much happening here either. Laying low in hopes of my back being a lot less cranky by the weekend. Only two of us working at the museum Friday but it will probably be slow. Saturday could be a butt-buster and I need to be ready.
Howdy, luvie.
That center “troop” is on point and ready to take off like a shot. I wouldn’t want to be in his crosshairs!
Hey there, radu!
Me either. He’s ready to roll. Would only take a word to set him off. :)
How were things over your way today? It was pretty darn warm here and our humidity is right at 9% right now. I can feel my skin shriveling up as we speak. LOL!
Good evening, luvie...best friends up to the job of helping protect our country!
It was cooler here today and it rained this morning. The sun broke out for about a half hour late this afternoon and got the temp up to 72.
They say rain showers and storms are in store for tomorrow and some could be severe.
At least rain chances for Saturday have dropped to 20%.
9% humidity?? UGH! I’d shrivel up to a dry husk and blow away with that! LOL WAAAAY too dry! It’s 92% here.
They sure do...and do a darn good job, too! We owe them our respect!
Yeah, that’s pretty dry. It does go a long way to helping keep our evenings cooler, though, so there is that.
I’m glad along with you that the chance of rain has been reduced for Saturday. Sure don’t need something to keep that museum opening from being awesome!
Made it thru the day, but no sanity left.
BUT....an issue with missed hours that I’ve been working on for several weeks is FINALLY resolved...I think. All missed hours require a correcting timesheet from the manager (a requirement I’ve said since day one). I finally got one after several hours of back and forth emails yesterday. And the employee’s check was done today!!
Evening, Kathy. Getting ready for Passover; gotta go!
I’ll s tick with our warmer, sometimes steamy evenings. Humidity that low sounds painful.
I hope the storms that come through in the early morning hours Friday do come through when they predict. If that line slows down, I’ll be driving through them. That’s not appealing.
I hope it’s slow Friday. When up there Monday, I noticed a lot of fingerprints on the glass display cases AND on those cannons. GRRRRRRR
I hope an early bedtime is in store tonight. Sounds like you could use a good, long sleep.
Dang, that manager sure took his time getting the timesheet to you, didn’t he? I remember when that came up and it HAS been quite a while. YAY that’s it’s finally resolved!!
Good evening, Janey...((HUGS))...any ubering coming up? Are snowbirds coming home?
Ooooo, sounds like you’ve already got some work to do! I’m sure they’ll look great by the time the patrons arrive!
Good evening/morning, Mayor, and thanks for today’s sustenance for body and soul.
Hurrah for us...we made it thru hump day!
Glad you were able to get your mowing done before more rain that makes the grass grow so it needs mowing again.
Yep. Nothing has been cleaned since I was up there last month, and there have been people up there periodically.
We need signs with the cannons saying “Do not touch”. It’s been brought up but never done.
It just irks me that people can’t seem to keep their hands to themselves. Too many years in retail. LOL
I was only able to get the grass along the driveway and the front yard mowed. The back yard and the yard at the old house are going to be a real pain by the time I get to mow again. What I mowed this week was a pain because it was long and thick. At least from the road, it looks good. LOL
