Americans are done with Ukraine and not even interested anymore.

Joe is going to cut bait because this issue is not a winning one.

I am fully with the Free Republic Zeepers in wanting Ukraine to kill off every last male in their country.

What is Biden trying to do? Encourage a peace settlement?

THAT CAN’T EXTERMINATE ALL UKRAINIAN MALES, PRESIDENT BIDEN!!

Don’t give in, yet!

We left China at the end of WW II, originally they were our ally, we left Vietnam in disgrace, we abandoned the Shah of Iran, we let Castro take over Cuba, I can go on, but our history is too allow our allies to be overrun when it’s not convenient or politically desirable at the moment to stay.

“The Ukrainians will fight a guerilla war. Eventually, in 10 years or so, the Russians will have to withdraw.”

Just like the South Vietnamese Right?

All he wanted was the proxy war to attrit the US’s military stores.

Fixed it.

Problem is, that while that does complicate things for the Russians, they have other sources for petrochemicals that are beyond Ukraine’s reach - so they won’t actually cut said supplies.

Wrong. 3700 early model Abrams tanks in storage. 31 given to Ukraine.

You do know that as a result of supplying Ukraine, we now have a shortage of numerous missile types as well as artillery projectiles that we can’t make up because of chip shortages?

Raytheon is on record as being able to make *maybe* one missile per day due to said shortages. And that’s not one of each type, that’s *one*.

The gist of it is that by attacking Russia’s supply of oil the world price might rise significantly and we can’t have that, not with an election looming. Gas prices are obviously far more important to Biden than Ukraine ever was.

Biden has wanted to appear to be a tough guy, and if he can be a
“wartime president” that would be great. He recalls well how Bill Clinton and his suck-ups lamented his never having had a war to fight, and losing the chance to be seen by history as a great leader. Biden has a grandiose delusion of himself that needs bolstering so he can be a “big f’ing deal” after all.

So if Biden loses Afghanistan and Ukraine all in one term. Who can we compare him to? He might be the lone exception there. Usually, as a President, you get one **** up.

No.
The gas price hike is due to Russia’s number one ally : IRAN
... as they are readying to attack Israel.

“Funny how we made Russia the force that can destroy Europe by frightening Europe into warring against them by claiming Russia was going to take over Europe.”

Agree - I’m also getting a kick out it too. Austin claims that we need to have Ukraine wipe out a generation of its men to “weaken Russia”, while Linda essentially says “This is great, we get to inflict pain on Russia and only Ukrainians have to die.”

But just the past week or two, things change. We find out that Russia’s weapons, many already a generation ahead of ours, have now advanced and are even further ahead due to battlefield experience, while Russia has both INCREASED the size of their military and now has one of the FASTEST growing economies in the world (thanks mainly to the West trying to be cute and cutting Russia loose from the yoke of Western influence).

The Neocons could HIDE from their other IDIOTIC ‘projects’, but this one is out of their control and Putin (and his new friends, starting with Saudi Arabia) could EASILY make the 2024 election a really, really, bad day for the Democrats, even with their built in cheating.

What about artillery shells and rocket launchers and rockets and precision guided munitions and Javelin anti-tank weapons?

Would you rather we pay billions to have those missiles decommissioned and destroyed? Apparently, so. We can build aircraft carriers but not shells? Ridiculous.

Looks like Raytheon is going to be busy. That’s good news for their American workers most of whom are, presumably, veterans and Trump voters. It’s bad news for genocidal regimes the world over and their duped useful fools.

Poland receives green light for $15 billion Patriot missile systems buy

Poland’s weapons-buying spree just keeps on going, with a multibillion-dollar battle command system that will be used to support the country’s Patriot missile defense program poised to become the latest major purchase. On Wednesday, the U.S. State Department issued a statement announcing initial approval of the $15 billion deal. The acquisition is part of the program’s second phase and involves an Integrated Air and Missile Defense Battle Command System and a wide array of supporting equipment, including 48 Patriot M903 launch stations, hundreds of advanced missiles and assorted launchers and sensors. “This proposed sale will support the foreign policy goals and national security objectives of the United States by improving the security of a NATO ally that is a force for political stability and economic progress in Europe,” the State Department said in a statement. In addition, the sale will improve coordination with the U.S. military, since American forces use the same air defense system, the statement said. The sale, which requires formal congressional approval, comes after several other major weapons purchases by Poland, which over the past several years has become a major force in NATO. Poland’s push to upgrade its military has intensified over the past year in the wake of Russia’s February 2022 invasion of Ukraine. Earlier this week, Poland welcomed its first batch of Abrams tanks, which arrived Tuesday. In upcoming months, nearly 400 Abrams tanks will be incorporated into the Polish army. Apache attack helicopters, High Mobility Artillery Rocket Systems and F-35
