Mayor Eric Adams might be crying poverty over the Big Apple’s migrant crisis, but that didn’t stop him from quietly pushing through a giant $2.1 billion raise package for 10,000 bureaucrats.
The salary increases, which Adams approved in February without putting out a press release, will retroactively boost salaries by 16.2% for managers and other non-union employees when compounded annually over a five-year period dating back to 2021.

Party time in the Big Apple before the end drops HARD
Something tells me that, Adams has stopped asking Biden for assistance for paying for the illegal aliens in NYC, but, that’s because, Biden has been sending the support money to NYC/Adams...
SECRETLY!!!
Thus, Adams/NYC have the money to spend on higher salaries for the bureaucRATS.
But, when it comes to democrats, they never really need the money to be provided, since they can always run higher and higher deficits with impunity. There’s plenty more money in that bottomless money pit known as deficits.
If they’d vote for this, then why does NYC have RCV...?
Talk about spreading the shi’ite into the past. They are averaging this over 3 previous years, so as to make it seem a reasonable increase. These people and Mayor Adams proves the point how evil and tone deaf he is at every turn.
This is an average raise of $210,000 dollars. If you gave me that much, I could easily live for 10 years. On SS, an average retiree brings in about $150,000 every 10 years. People who worked their entire life, and now at the end of life, a rent increase of $300, which is not out of the question, is $36,000. A lot of money to some, but not to the people in the ivory towers. To them, it is a vacation in Maui.
Does anyone know how to get through border security and be classified as an alien resident instead of a citizen? Tongue not so firmly planted in my cheek here.
Democrats ... always fighting for the little guy.
