Authorities believe they've found the body of a Homestead woman who had gone missing after her carjacking at gunpoint in central Florida was caught on camera, and are searching for the suspects involved in her killing.
Katherine Altagracia Guerrero De Aguasvias was abducted Thursday after a witness recorded an armed suspect pointing a weapon at her at an intersection in Winter Springs, Seminole County Sheriff's Office officials said.
The 31-year-old woman had left Homestead earlier in the day and drove north in a white Dodge Durango until she reached Seminole County.
As she was driving, a green Acura rammed into her back bumper. She called her husband and told him someone was following her and had rammed her, Seminole Sheriff Dennis Lemma told reporters at a news conference Friday.
The husband told her to not stop, but neither of them called 911, Lemma said.

She's got a carry permit, a handgun she likes and a "carry" purse. Why take a chance on running into creeps like this?
He did not call 911; was it a set-up he was in on?
I’ve been taught (and tell your loved ones) NEVER, NEVER get in a car with anyone or let them get in your car even if they have a gun. Your odds are better to try run or drive away whichever is the case. and let them try to shoot you. Odds are they won’t even shoot but even if they do your odds are better than if you willingly let them take you to a secondary place where they can do whatever they want to you in private.
If she was targeted, then it might be a cartel hit.
If she was targeted, then it might be a cartel hit.
It would certainly explain why 9/11 wasn’t called.
Teach women and kids to go limp and as you say, never get into car!
The article says no known criminal history in the United States. What might her immigration status be? Anybody have the scintilla of curiosity that might just be part of a journalist’s job? Ay caramba!
She may very well be innocents, because the cartels will go after family members when somebody doesn’t pay up.
Just a guess, but illegals don’t like calling the cops.

That is a long name.
