All sides propagandize today and the MSM is part of that formula.

You and I live in the West.

Here (US and Euro zone) it's the Russian perspective that is mass censored. That is why it is often newspapers or online media from India and the Middle East where we do not censor that some of the “other news” which we don't want published leaks through. For example, when this war began, we didn't want ANYTHING regards the Nazi issue in Ukraine published and the first true reports of this came from everywhere except Western media: https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2022/3/1/who-are-the-azov-regiment Other topics which our free, watchdog, investigative media generally avoids: The prolific use of mercenaries, where they come from and the casualties they are taking as well as who is paying for them. The dismal reality regards Ukrainian so called democracy which includes banned opposition parties, shutting down radio stations, banning HAM radio, assassinations of opponent leaders, canceling elections, jailing journalists that dare report on something other than what we want... The horrible human rights record of Ukraine before and now regards the ethnic Russian minority. Ukrainian casualties in men and equipment. The use of weapons given to Ukraine in Gaza today by Palestinians. Ukrainian recruiting and how people are being forced to fight...

Roughly 40 Russian news outlets are blocked from viewing, and our social media is accepting of horrible posts which violate their terms but because it's the favored side they let them stand while they block even the slightest infringement of the opposing viewpoint. It is our MSM that basically allows Ukrainian ghost writers, is willing to follow a script and ignore certain topics because they do not fit the agenda. If you lived in Russia, it would be the other way around, but you live in the West, and here you are getting our “propaganda” rammed down your throat 24/7.

Propaganda is itself no more than a pejorative term. What is propaganda? When you have a government influencing information in order to change perceptions so that a desired action follows. With that definition, we in the West are ever as much “propagandizing” the public as the Russians are theirs today. Look back to last year when you had a leak reveal the true state of affairs in Ukraine: https://www.newsweek.com/2023/05/05/read-leaked-secret-intelligence-documents-ukraine-vladimir-putin-1794656.html#slideshow/2222852 This is very different than what our government allows and even promotes in the MSM. Internally they know the truth, but externally they want the masses to believe something different so that they can keep popular support for a war which in reality is not going the way they want you to believe. What is that called? Lying.

—Does pursuit of the truth make someone an enemy today?

—Does thinking on ones own and formulating ones own opinion on a matter make one a “puppet”?

—Is looking for information that is more factual using BOTH sides, i.e. empirical and can be somewhat verified, where timelines match up (cause and effect), and trying to ignore the emotionally charged garbage which permeates our media make someone less objective?

We live in some very interesting times, which I would have never predicted. I grew up in the former W. Germany during the Cold War as a USAF brat, living on the economy, speaking the language... In the Cold War, the East was propagandizing the West massively with organizations like Radio Moscow, Pravda, etc. You had a free media in the West and they sometimes perpetuated this state sponsored propaganda from the East.

***However, today it is in the WEST where just like in the former Soviet Union and Warsaw Pact nations, people live behind an (((information iron curtain)))!!!***

If you think this to be ridiculous, look at other examples, such as Covid, the 2020 elections and J6 or what is happening in Canada with your protesting truckers etc. You have mass censorship, government information operations intended to steer people in a certain direction and much of it has a political agenda and is full of half truths: https://www.instagram.com/p/CS13Xtin-AK/

I suggest you actually seek out what you call “Russian propaganda.” That does not mean you trust it and accept everything they claim, but you see their perspective, their arguments, look for their verifiable facts and bounce that off what you're being told here which often ignores major aspects of this conflict in order to paint an entirely one sides picture. Russia bad, Ukraine good.

—Is accepting the idea that most conflicts have two sides to the story foolish?

How much did the US MSM focus on this? https://www.france24.com/en/russia/20220130-did-nato-betray-russia-by-expanding-to-the-east

Here is what I have come up with, and it's not the narrative you are told and believe. This war would have NEVER happened had this US administration not offered NATO membership to Ukraine, then fast tracked it, and ignored all of Russia's protests to this move. This war can be drawn back to one single event in time: https://www.reuters.com/world/europe/ukrainian-president-zelenskiy-holding-talks-with-biden-adviser-says-2021-12-09/

It was (((AFTER))) we made this move that Russia began moving troops to the West and along the Ukrainian border in Russia and Belarus in mass. Then Russia conducted live fire training exercises and eventually invaded 4 months later, and our media makes sure to mention "unprovoked" at every opportunity.

I can only hope that this war isn't in part a personal vendetta, because of a personal hatred of Russia by “Nuddleman.”

You would hope that people put in those positions act in the best interest of our nation, and not out of personal family or religious past grievances, their limited perceptions and feelings.

No doubt, her involvement played a major role in causing this war.

But it was Biden that ultimately pulled the trigger (in what our MSM unanimously calls an unprovoked war) with his move to expand NATO into Ukraine October 2021.

Bugged phone conversation between Assistant Secretary of State Victoria Nuland and the US Ambassador to Ukraine, Geoffrey Pyatt. (Last days of Jan., 2014)

Nuland: “OK. He’s now gotten both Serry and [UN Secretary General] Ban Ki-moon to agree that Serry could come in Monday or Tuesday. So that would be great, I think, to help glue this thing and to have the UN help glue it and, you know, F**k the EU.”

Staging a coup, arming and preparing Ukraine for a proxy war against Russia, installing a puppet regime that outlaws the opposition, Russian culture and language, triggering a civil war against Russian minorities in Donbass, killing thousands of people... and then calling Russia “The Aggressor”...

Nuland should be the first one to face the firing squad along with all her warmongering, evil, neocon cohorts.

How many more innocent people must die due to their evil foreign policy?
