No statute of limitations for murder. Byrd and his conspirators need to face arrest like any city cop would in the same boat. Deadly force was absolutely illegal for that circumstance.
The capitol building is not some red line nuclear weapon bunker deadly force zone. And with that, imagine a city hall and someone unarmed crawling through a window into the mayors office. A local cop shoots the person.
The FBI would land on them with both feet.

Murder has no statute of limitations. Byrd should be prosecuted for murder, no matter how long it takes.
If he had a strong legal defense for shooting and killing Ashli Babbitt, why did the coward flee to Andrews Air Force Base for refuge and hide there after the shooting?
Why has there never been a public hearing to cover this deadly shooting?
Does Byrd have the goods on those who would prosecute him by exposing their organized, INSIDER conspiracy to trigger the confrontation they PLANNED WOULD HAPPEN?
In the law, flight is evidence of guilt.
